Twenty-six taxa of Sphaeriaceae were collected in the vicinity of the D. C. Cook nuclear power plant. This total includes 25 species of Pisidiidae and the Asiatic clam Corbicula fluminea. Only one empty shell of Corbicula has been found to date and this in 1984. In Pisidiidae, there were 19 Pisidium, 4 Sphaerium, and 2 Musculium species.
