In the course of field work from the University of Michigan Museum of Zoology and the University's Biological Station we have taken specimens of three species of birds not reported by Nelson (1956) and Pettingill (1957,1958) in their accounts of the ornithology of Cheboygan-Emmett county region of Michigan. These new records are as follows: Yellow Rail (Coturnicops noveboracensis), Glaucous Gull (Larus h. hyperboreus), Great Black-backed Gull (Larus marinus).
